The Dutchman won in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Japan, China, and Italy. However, this last triumph was special since, on the final stretch, the car failed, and he had to deploy all his capabilities to keep up with the onslaught of Lando Norris, McLaren driver.

The Red Bull pilot has 161 points, beating the Ferrari driver, the local Charles Leclerc, by 48 units.

Last year was a good duo for Norris, and now he has scored 53 points, but with the prospect of continuing to climb positions. On three occasions, he has come close to a podium finish, which would be a success for his second year in F1. 

Two other names to watch out for in this race are Carlos Sainz Jr. and “Checo” Perez. The Spaniard already knew how to win during the season, but his performance has been irregular because, in one race, he could not finish, another time, he was on the podium, and then he always finished in fifth position. 

Checo continues to generate many doubts despite having the same car as Verstappen, his performance left him, for example, in eighth place in the last race. The Mexican gives the impression that he is decreasing.
