The teams decided to waste no time and make the first half of this clash the most exciting one in the whole weekend. They fired left and right at each other, with all of the goals scored during the first 45.
Gabriel Magalhaes opened the scoring for Arsenal just ten minutes in before Leandro Trossard tucked home the second just before the half-hour mark. Martin Odegaard then drilled it in from the spot, while Kai Havertz punished some slack defending to beat Lukasz Fabianski one-on-one. That landed a 4-0 Lead for Arsenal in the first 36 minutes.
Then, quickfire strikes from Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Emerson, who picked out the top corner with a stunning free-kick, gave West Ham hope, but its chances of a comeback were quashed shortly before the break.
Bukayo Saka, who also provided two assists, added Arsenal’s fifth from the penalty spot on the stroke of half-time after Fabianski clattered Gabriel while attempting to clear a corner. This goal would seal the deal for the rest of the match.
It is only the fourth time in Premier League history that there have been seven goals scored in a single half, but the Gunners put in a more measured display after the interval to ensure there was no hint of drama.

This was a beatdown, as Enzo Maresca’s side looked full of energy from the outset, and Nicolas Jackson swept his side into a seventh-minute lead with his effort sliding in off the post.
Villa, who came into the game without a win in their last seven matches across all competitions, could have equalized eight minutes later but sadly didn’t. The usually dependable Ollie Watkins shrugged off his defender, but his effort lacked the power to beat goalkeeper Robert Sanchez.
After dominating the first half, Chelsea cruised through the second before capitalizing near the end to make sure they took the three points comfortably.

Things were great for the hosts in this clash, as Ruben Amorim’s new-look outfit scored twice in the closing stages of a first half in which Everton had been the better side for large swathes.
Things got back on track soon after as Rashford fired in his second within half a minute of the restart before Zirkzee applied an exclamation point to proceedings.
This was the Red Devils’ largest win for the Premier League in more than three years, and it saw them climb up to ninth in the table. Everton, who lost all their fizz after the first goal, are just two points above the relegation zone, but this beating might leave their spirits a little down for a time.

Liverpool didn’t need to hit as hard in this match to send a clear message with their victory.
For 20 minutes, Liverpool played good old-fashioned Jürgen Klopp football as they tore into Manchester City. It was rock and roll. Heavy metal. Full throttle. And City could not cope.
Liverpool scored once. To be fair, they could have pretty much scored six times. If the game was won in that period, then it was not lost – or drawn – in the next 70 minutes as they showed Arne Slot football.
There was a bit more control but still plenty of threat, so they wrapped it up with 12 minutes to go. What a performance. What a win. What a hammering for City, as the current leaders make it harder and harder to be caught on the scoreboard.
