NFL Week 9 Roundup

NFL Week 9 Roundup

Dolphins vs. Bills

Week 9 of the NFL Season gave us some interesting results, with some of the stronger teams, like the Texans and the Packers, falling back from their good streak but others keeping things strong at the front.

First, we have to mention the Chiefs, who have kept an undefeated run for the eight games they have played, and they are being closely chased by the Lios, Bills, and Commanders.

We still have half of the season left to go for the teams to keep their positions moving along in this Regular NFL season, but right now, it is time to break down some of the action that took place this last week.

The Bills showed again their great paternity over the Floridian franchise, beating the Dolphins for the second time this season. They are 15-2 against Miami since 2017, and not even Tua Tagovailoa was enough to give the visitors a chance.

A 61-yard winning goal by Tyler Bass sealed the deal in a game where the Floridians didn’t wake up until the last quarter. Meanwhile, Josh Allen got three TD passes for another excellent game, being the favorite for the MVP trophy along with Lamar Jackson.

The Lions keep surprising, dominating their division with an iron fist and being the second-best team, just behind the Chiefs in the overall table. Just the second and third quarters were enough to seal the deal in a game where the QBs didn’t shine. Jordan Love almost doubled Goff in passing yards, but he didn’t complete a TD pass and was intercepted once.

Green Bay tried to wake up in the last quarter, but the Lions have a pretty solid defense, even without Aidan Hutchinson.

The Kansas City Chiefs keep finding a way to win almost every game by just seven points and already have eight victories in a row. It won’t last forever, especially as they’ll seal the first seed sooner or later and will need to rest the starters. The good news that stood out is that Patrick Mahomes completed three TD passes from almost 300 aerial yards and more than 30 successful attempts. It was his best game this season, and the other teams should be very aware.

If the Chiefs were already unbeatable without their star player at his best, if he starts performing, the third championship in a row will come, no matter what.

The Buccaneers were capable of containing the Chiefs in the third quarter, but the latter exploited into life in the last thanks to two TD passes by Mahomes.
