NFL Week 4 Betting Schedule, Lines, Odds and Predictions

This week 4 of the NFL Regular season was exciting, as the matches we got came out to be either total wars or a full showcase of a team’s capabilities over the other.

The first was the case of the intense duel between the Vikings and Packers, which had each side taking the spotlight on each half and the score being decided by a really small gap.

Other matches, like the clash between Falcons and Saints, Jets and Broncos, and the Colts against the Steelers, ended up with close results, so there were enough games to keep yourself at the edge of the seat.

Then, we also had full-on beatdowns, like the case of the clashes between the Ravens and Bills, Dolphins and Titans, Buccaneers and Eagles, 49ers and Patriots, and, of course, the Cardinals and Commanders, in which one of the sides took the time to play and beat around their opponents, showing that they were, at least for the match, on different levels.

It is time to look back and analyze some of these matches as the teams continue to go forward and pick up on their season.

NFL Week 4 Roundup: Giants 15 – 20 Cowboys

In the NFC East rivals’ first meeting of the 2024 season, Dak Prescott secured his 13th consecutive win against New York and the team’s seventh straight.

The 20-15 victory in East Rutherford was a high-stakes game for Dallas. Heading into the contest 1-2, head coach Mike McCarthy’s job was arguably on the line Thursday night as he works this season on an expiring contract. Fortunately, his team may have kept his seat a little cooler for now.

Prescott and CeeDee Lamb proved to be a dynamic duo after the receiver struggled in last week’s game. He redeemed himself Thursday with 98 yards on seven receptions, including a touchdown. Prescott impressed as well, throwing for 221 yards and two TDs on 22-of-27 passing.

The Cowboys’ defense didn’t allow a single touchdown by the Giants all night, holding them to five field goals by kicker Greg Joseph. Daniel Jones threw for more yards than Prescott with 281, but he completed just 29-of-40 and tossed a game-ending interception on a Hail Mary with under 10 seconds left.

NFL Week 4 Roundup: Vikings 31 – 29 Packers

With Packers quarterback Jordan Love back and top cornerback Jaire Alexander out, the Vikings jumped out to a 28-0 first-half lead and then thwarted a Green Bay rally.

Love threw for 389 yards and four touchdowns, but also threw three interceptions in the Packers’ 31-29 loss. Vikings’ running back Aaron Jones was back in Green Bay for the first time since he signed with Minnesota as a free agent and had 139 yards.

It was a close finish, but the Vikings managed to hold the Packers enough to get the win after a pretty strong first half.

NFL Week 4 Roundup: Ravens 35 – 10 Bills

After Buffalo’s first drive of the game stalled, the Ravens got the ball at the 13-yard line after a Sam Martin punt. Ravens RB Derrick Henry took the first play of the Ravens’ drive to the end zone for an 87-yard rushing touchdown.

On the ensuing drive, Allen and the offense drove down the field and scored a K Tyler Bass 50-yard field goal. The drive was slowed down due to two holding penalties.

The Ravens offense continued to roll on their next drive as Jackson found Henry on a short pass that Henry took into the end zone, bringing the score to 14-3. On their next offensive drive, Jackson found RB Justice Hill for a touchdown that brought the score to 21-3.

After halftime, the Bills defense came out aggressive, forcing a quick three-and-out situation, and the offense got the ball back.

The defense then forced another three-and-out, ending the drive with a Spector sack of Jackson.

The Bills offense got the ball back and picked right back up where they had left off when Allen found WR Keon Coleman for a 24-yard completion on the sideline.

As they continued to move the ball, Allen had the ball knocked out of his hands by Ravens LB Kyle Van Noy, and the Ravens recovered. Six plays later, Jackson ran the ball into the end zone, expanding their lead to 28-10.

The Bills offense continued to struggle down the stretch after a Bass missed field goal, and the offense went three-and-out. In between those drives, the Ravens scored a touchdown that was fumbled by Henry but recovered in the end zone by FB Patrick Ricard, increasing the lead further to 35-10.
