A new MLS week with many goals and some surprises, making the fight to enter the playoffs red hot.
51 goals this weekend in the 14 matches in the United States, where we did not find any 0-0. Inter Miami tied for the second consecutive game and allowed the Los Angeles Galaxy to close the gap.

In the best MLS match of the weekend, the Columbus Crew got a great 4-3 victory over Orlando City, two teams that are very well-placed in the Eastern Conference.
The match had a lot of emotions. Before the first goal, the visitors had two shots on the posts and the locals one, and it was precisely the home team who would take the lead on the scoreboard on the half-hour mark after recovering a ball and Diego Rossi defined with a cross.
In the second half, Christian Ramirez headed in at 51′ and Cucho Hernández at 71′ with his left foot, both after crosses from Maximilian Arfsten from different sides, to make the score 3-0 and think that everything was definite for the Crew.
But it was not to be. A few minutes later, at 74′, Ramiro Enrique scored the discount after a rebound off the post, and at 78′ Luis Muriel made it 3-2 with a penalty kick. In the following play, they even came close to equalizing, but defender Steven Moreira cleared the ball off the line.
Columbus woke up and, after a mistake by Orlando’s defense, Aziel Jackson managed to give his team peace of mind with a shot that was close to the base of the post. In the last minute of play, Muriel had a shot from half distance that goalkeeper Patrick Schulte could not control and scored the 4-3, but it was too late and there was nothing to do.
With this result, the Ohio team remains in third place in the East with 56 points, and already qualified, while the Florida team is fifth in the standings with 43 units.
MLS Matchday 33: Nashville 2 – 2 Cincinnati

It was an important match for Nashville, which is dreaming of making the playoffs, but they were held to a 2-2 draw at home by Cincinnati.
The home team took an early lead after Sam Surridge’s shot inside the box in the 4th minute. However, five minutes later, Luciano Acosta would equalize after a good play by Luca Orellano. It was 1-1 before the 10th minute.

MLS Matchday 33: Los Angeles Galaxy 4 – 2 Vancouver Whitecaps

Another great performance by the Los Angeles Galaxy, who defeated the Vancouver Whitecaps 4-2 to extend their lead at the top of the Western Conference. It was the third consecutive 4-2 for LA, but in one of them, they lost.
The Galaxy managed to open the scoring after half an hour of play after a loose ball in the area, and Brazilian Gabriel Pec appeared alone in the back and scored from the side. That was the only goal of the first part.
In the second half, Pec’s cross was deflected by midfielder Sebastian Berhalter into his net to make it 2-0. The discount came in the 63rd minute after a header by Berhalter and a subsequent left-footed shot by Brian White.
The excitement was short-lived, however, as six minutes later another Galaxy goal arrived. A great pass from Riqui Puig to Pec, who ran several meters with the ball and then gave it to Joseph Paintsil so that the Ghanaian only had to push the ball for the 3-1.
At 90+3′, Gabriel Pec, the star of the night, broke down the right and gave a pass to Puig, who tricked his marker and scored with great precision to one side, sealing the victory.
