We prepare for an excellent NFL Sunday, which will feature two teams that had different fates in week 1: the Denver Broncos and Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Broncos fell as visitors to the Seattle Seahawks. They started well, going into halftime winning, but a terrible third quarter where they didn’t score and took ten points against ended their hopes of surprising the locals.
The Steelers had a much quiet afternoon, getting a 10-18 win as visitors against the Atlanta Falcons.

Why Bet on the Broncos?
Now the hosts in their Empower Field, the Denver Broncos were 4-5 against the spread at home in 2023.
The Bo Nix Era is officially underway in Denver but unfortunately got off to a 0-1 start. Playing in Lumen Field is a difficult task for anybody, as the Seattle fans are some of the loudest in the league, but it is a tough ask for a rookie quarterback making his first career start.
The training wheels appear to be off, coach Sean Payton had Nix take 42 pass attempts, as the Broncos will be willing to air it out. Payton is an offensive coach and will have to find ways to make Nix successful. In the game, the debutant completed 26 of those 42 passes for 138 yards, with no touchdowns and two interceptions.
Why Bet on the Steelers?
The Pittsburg Steelers’ away win in their recent clash with the Atlanta Falcons allows them to come into this clash comfortably on their visitor status. However, they might have a tough time out as they try to beat a team ready to push on the offense and put the Pittsburgh defense through a challenge.
The quarterback battle in Pittsburgh was a story all offseason and appears to be continuing into the early weeks of the season. Russell Wilson was named the starter before Week 1, but a calf injury kept him out of the lineup.
He is listed as questionable for this game, with some reports stating that the Steelers are prepping as if they will start Justin Fields. The team is saying that will still start Russell when he is healthy, but for now, Fields will be at the helm.
Final Betting Analysis: Broncos vs. Steelers
Mike Tomlin is not going to be much help for this offense, as the pressure will fall on their coordinators and on Justin Fields to move the ball against Denver.
The Steelers settled for field goals all game long against the Falcons, a strategy that is not likely to be successful again. Fields has still not improved his pocket passing, as he often looks for the first read, andthen takes off. Pittsburgh also only had him pass 23 times, signifying the coaching staff still does not trust him to air it out regularly.
Denver covered in their first game, and Nix will show more poise in this Week 2. However, the Steelers have a much more solid defensive game, which will be key in a low-score match. Go for Pittsburg at the UNDER.
Go for a victory for the visitors at 1.734. If you bet $100 at such odds, you could get $73.4 for a total payout of $173.4
