Week 8 Review – vs. New Orleans Saints

The Chargers used their bye week to rest up and come back strong. The team was victorious this week winning 23-16 against the Denver Broncos.

The team finished the game with 350 total yards, 222 passing yards, 128 rushing yards and an average of 4.7 yards per play. Justin Herbert and J.K. Dobbins also contributed to the teams win with each player scoring a touchdown. The chargers have now taken 2nd place in the AFC West division behind the Chiefs.

They are hoping to keep the momentum going this weekend as they face off against the Arizona Cardinals.

Week 4 Review – vs. Kansas City Chiefs

The Chargers were unsuccessful this week when they went up against the reigning champions, the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chargers lost 17-10 in a match that disappointed fans.

While he was deemed active after the pregame warm-up the third quarter saw Herbert limp to the sidelines where he collapsed in pain. Herbert left the game to have his injury looked at but it is currently unclear if he will play again in the Chargers next game.

The Chargers will next take on the undefeated Champions, the Kansas City Chiefs, in Week 4.

Week 2 Review – vs. Carolina Panthers

The Chargers once again pulled off a landslide victory against the Carolina Panthers this week. The final score was 26-3 and the Chargers were not holding back.

Head Coach Jim Harbaugh said in his postgame speech “That’s how you take care of business.” The team had a 20-point lead at halftime and continued to put their foot on the gas. The team rushed for over 200 yards and thanks to the team’s united defense they were able to limit the Panthers to 54 yards of offense.

The Chargers will be facing off against the Pittsburgh Steelers next, which promises to be an intense match-up as both teams are currently 2-0.

In the final moments of the fourth quarter a fight broke out between the Chargers wide receiver Joshua Palmer and the Raiders cornerback Jack Jones. Coaches and officials tried to end to the conflict but as the scrap continued, Palmer and Jones were ejected from the game.
