The Liga MX Fem is now in the semifinals, and two teams are vying for a place in the definitive series: Monterrey and Pachuca, two of the clubs that have performed the best during the semester.

The Rayadas defeated Pumas 1-0 at home, with a goal by Jermaine Seoposenwe, and advanced with a 3-0 aggregate score.

Why Bet on Monterrey?

Monterrey reaches this phase after being one of the most consistent clubs in the first stage of the Liga MX Femenil and, later, leaving out a team like Pumas.

The Felinas lost 1-0, thanks to a goal by Jermaine Seoposenwe, who has been one of the stars of this team, scoring nine goals in total. The Rayadas had already won the first match by 2-0. Dania Perez and Valeria del Campo scored the goals that day.

Monterrey is a team that reinforced well to face this semester. It has an important scoring quota, but its best aspect has been the defense: it has only allowed 12 goals this season.

That is why they finished third in the round-robin, surpassed only by Tigres and Pachuca. They have only lost on three occasions.

Playing at home, Monterrey is arguably the best team in the Liga MX Femenil, with 22 points. They won seven games, drawing once and losing against Guadalajara on the last matchday of the first phase. To this, we must add the most recent victory versus Pumas. They have only allowed two goals against in that condition (Chivas and Tijuana).

Why Bet on Pachuca?

Pachuca was set up to reach, at least, the final of the Mexican tournament, and its performance has been in line with expectations, losing only once in the entire campaign.

In the quarterfinals, they defeated León 5-1 on aggregate. The second leg was 1-0, thanks to a goal by Charlyn Corral, who is the best scorer of the campaign.

So far, Corral has 21 goals, and it seems that the Golden Boot will only be a matter of time for this Mexican striker.

In the round-robin, this team was in second place with 42 points, two behind Tigres. The season summary is 15 wins, three draws, and one loss (vs. León). They have the best offense in the league, with 55 goals, while allowing 16 goals.

What these numbers show is that they are a very balanced team, and they must continue advancing in this championship.

Final Betting Analysis: Monterrey vs. Pachuca

The record between these two teams shows two draws in a row, and the Rayadas have not won since a 5-0 victory in March of last year. However, in that same tournament, they also met in the semifinals, and Pachuca advanced after a goalless draw at home and a 1-0 away win.

An example of this is what happened in the round-robin when they tied 2-2 at the home of the Tuzas. Corral scored twice for Pachuca, and Myra Delgadillo and Seoposenwe did it for Monterrey.

At home to Monterrey, the Tuzas are undefeated in two matches; before that, they had four defeats in a row.

A great match is coming to us at the BBVA Stadium, with several goals on both sides. However, the final result will be a draw, so everything will be defined in the second leg at Pachuca’s home. We’ll go for another 2-2.
