The Clausura MX 2024 quarterfinals were marked by draws. The four keys were defined with ties, but they certified some luxury crossings.

For their part, Monterrey eliminated Tigres in a long-awaited match, and their next opponent will be Cruz Azul, who showed their hierarchy to eliminate Pumas.

With Colombian-Mexican Julián Quiñones as the great hero, Club América drew 1-1 with Pachuca and secured a place in the semifinals of Liga MX.
In the 31st minute, Oussama Idrissi gave the Tuzos the lead by taking advantage of a mistake by the local defense in a wrong pass towards the center of the area. However, Quiñones in the 90+4′ took a rejection from the rival goalkeeper to put the final tie.
Although the series remained 2-2, as América had a better position in the round-robin, they got the qualification. However, doubts remained about the level of the Águilas, who suffered a lot to advance.

Chivas demonstrated their hierarchy and left out a team like Toluca, who had a great first phase, with a goalless draw at the Nemesio Diez stadium.
Taking advantage of the 1-0 scoreline from the first leg (Víctor Guzmán), the Rebaño gambled on a clean sheet and succeeded, mainly because the Diablos were not sharp when in front of goal. They took 22 shots, seven of which were on target. In addition, Toluca played more than half an hour with one player less due to the red card of Brian García at 58′.
The Guadalajara side are back in the semifinals, and their rival will be their derby, América. A year ago, they also met in the semifinals, and on that occasion, Chivas advanced to the final with a 3-2 aggregate score.

Monterrey ended Tigres’ dismal season with a 1-1 draw at the BBVA Stadium, eliminating them from the Liga MX in another edition of the Clásico Regiomontano.
The Rayados’ qualification to the semifinals took place even though they started behind on the scoreboard with a goal by André-Pierre Gignac at 26′. However, in the 59th minute, Jordi Cortizo appeared to equalize the score by taking advantage of a rebound from the right post.
With a 3-2 aggregate score, Monterrey advances to the semifinals to face Cruz Azul, and Tigres has no chance of winning anything this semester.
