We are halfway through the round of 32, but we have some bold predictions for what is going to happen in the next few matches and how it will affect the full round of 16 going forward.
Both the round of 32 and the round of 16 are knockout stages, so things are getting pretty exciting as these teams eliminate each other match after match.
We will have to focus most of our predictions on the matches that are already confirmed, but we will also do some bold predictions on who will make it through in today’s matches on the round of 32, and predict what we will get to see on the round of 16.
The teams that are already set on the round of 16 are:
FC Dallas, Philadelphia, Charlotte, Queretaro, LAFC, Inter Miami, NY Red Bulls, Houston Dynamo, and New England.
This means that there are still 7 spots left to fill.
Here is a list of the games that will be taking place:

Leagues Cup Round of 32 – BOLD PREDICTIONS
We have 7 matches left, and these will decide which teams will be meeting in the next round.
We have two bold predictions on what will be the matches in the round of 16, judging from the teams that haven’t played just yet.
Those that read our picks on the round of 32 can see that we got both picks right on Inter Miami and FC Dallas passing into the next round (and we will get to that in a bit), but should also know that we expect Monterrey to get through Portland and score their spot.
Our first bold Prediction here is that Tigres UANL is going to beat Vancouver.
Both results would set Monterrey vs. Tigres UANL as a match in the round of 16th.
The second prediction is about LAFC’s future opponent; the match pits Leon and Real Salt Lake City, but we are expecting the Mexican Team to show some grit in a contested fight and land a spot in the round of 16.
This means that we predict that LAFC will meet León in the round of 16, (We, however, do not believe León will have a nice time against them).

FC Dallas is currently looking stronger than at the start of the Leagues Cup. However, Inter Miami has looked in good form in recent matches, and their momentum is excellent.
It is surely going to be a mouth-watering contest between these two sides in Texas.
Some would be favoring FC Dallas for this match, as they are playing at home, but there is something simply pointing us to go toward Inter Miami after their 3-1 victory over Orlando. That something is Leonel Messi, not much to develop in that regard.
Not to say that FC Dallas’ 1-0 win over Mazatlan wasn’t good, but there is something that doesn’t feel that convincing.
Inter Miami vs. FC Dallas Betting Pick: Inter Miami
Leagues Cup Round of 16 – Queretaro vs. New England

New England comes from an extended penalty shoot-out with Atlas that went to 8-7 after a 2-2 score on regular time.
On the other side, Queretaro took a 1-0 victory over Pumas, which wasn’t overwhelming but got them into the next stage.
Due to the form and momentum that Atlas came in, the New England victory was quite an impressive feat, and if they are well-rested by the time they hit the field again, we are expecting them to get an easier time in the field in this match.
We expect the score to end up 2-1 in favor of the Home Team.
