The final game of week 9 of the NFL took place yesterday in New Orleans. Saints and Ravens faced each other, in a match where the visitors started in a devastating way and did not give any chance to the hosts. The Ravens won 27-13 and were the best in 4 periods. With this victory, the Baltimore team reached its sixth and consolidated themselves in the leadership of the AFC North. After the heavy defeat, the Saints remain in third place in the NFC South.
The group and conference positions are already starting to take shape, as there are only 7 games left until the end of the first phase of the NFL and the beginning of the qualifications for the playoffs. More than half of the games have already been played, making Round 10 crucial for those teams still dreaming of a spot in the next stage.
Thursday is coming again and it will be interesting to see how the coaching staff will approach these final games, in search of the last sprint to reach the leadership of the group and conquer the much dreamed classification for the playoffs.
