Matches Preview:
Cloud9 vs. Team Liquid
Cloud9 has been unstoppable so far, with a 4-win no losses run, and they have secured the top spot.
They do have to face Team Liquid, who was caught off guard yesterday and now are fighting to secure the 3rd spot and qualify in a tough situation.
If this would have been the first match of the group, we’d be on Liquid’s side, but right now, we are inclined to believe Cloud9 will finish undefeated.
Movistar Raiders vs. Eternal Fire
This match just makes an intermission between the most important matches on the day.
Both teams sit at the bottom with no chances of qualifying, so we are not too much into the match; however, we are giving it to Eternal Fire.
FURIA Esports vs. Evil Geniuses
FURIA has secured their qualifier spot, and they were only defeated yesterday in their clash with Cloud9.
They may have lost their undefeated status, but they have one task ahead of them right now.
They either stop Evil Geniuses in their tracks of fighting for the 3rd spot with Team Liquid and attempt to reach the top spot, or they allow them to outscore the Americans to get one of the tough contenders out of the table.
We believe that Furia should be able to easily handle Evil Geniuses, but the results depend on their game plan to deal with Team Liquid or grab the top spot according to the results of the earlier match in the day.
