Chicago Bulls vs. Cleveland Cavaliers

DeMar DeRozan, with 25 points, boosted the Chicago Bulls’ victory against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday with a score of 101-91. The complement was the triumphant return of Alex Caruso after almost two months out due to injury.

In a packed United Center, DeRozan once again led the Bulls who, after ending their five-game losing streak in Detroit, chained their second straight win to regain confidence in the Eastern Conference.

First Quarters

The match began with impressive fairness, both teams were playing very calmly and with great precision. Overall, they needed this victory to continue climbing positions in the Eastern Conference.

After an excellent first quarter, the Bulls managed to take the partial victory with a score of 24-22, supported by the 8 points scored by DeRozan and the 7 scored by Vucevic. On the other hand, the Cavaliers had the ruthless offense of Evan Mobley, who scored 11 of Cleveland’s 22 points.

The second quarter was the one that ultimately gave definitive figures to this game, since, again DeRozan with 9 points, managed to be the spark plug for Chicago so that they could also win the second quarter with a score of 29-20. Therefore, the game went to rest with a 53-42 advantage for the Bulls over the Cavs.

Second Half

The third quarter was one of the best of the game. Both teams came out to kill or die to try to put their team ahead on the scoreboard, but the fairness they were showing was impressive and they ended the third quarter tied at 24 points. In other words, the difference of 11 points with which the Bulls went into the break was maintained.

The last and decisive quarter began, where both teams had to try to make as few mistakes as possible so that their team would take the victory.

Like the first and third quarters, the latter was very even, the approach of both coaches was bearing fruit and, thanks to this, the quarter ended with a very tight score of 25-24 with a partial victory for the Cavaliers, but, it was not enough for them to reduce the 11 point deficit they had at the beginning of the quarter.

The Cavaliers had Darius Garland who scored 9 points in this quarter, while the Bulls had a joint offensive display and, thanks to that, they were fantastic in this fourth quarter.
